Singer helps out unfortunate kids


korea's pop legend Cho Yong Pil, 53, is making a big donation for unfortunate
cardiac patient children.

Cho said he would use all of the money he inherited from his wife Ahn Jin-hyeon,
who passed away in the wake of a cardiac operation in the United States Jan.5.

A self-established entrepreneur in the washington area, Ahn left behind some $10 million,
inclouding a hotel in Baltimore, Maryland and some life insurance.

Of the total sum, Cho is supposed to collect $4 million with which she wished Cho to use
for music and education purposes in her will, said the seoul-based YPC production,
to which cho is affiliated.

His actual inheritance will be around $2 million after taxes, sources said.
"There are many destitute children out there in Korea who couldn't afford surgery
and are forced to live on the edge df life and death," Cho was quoted as saying,
explaining his plan to establish a charity fund for these children.
